And The Journey Begins...

Troy and I found out yesterday we got approved for a loan for Troy to start helicopter training. When he told me, it was minutes after he found out and he couldn't stop smiling and jumping around. He was ecstatic! As mentioned earlier, he's always wanted to fly. The serious consideration of it came about six months ago and since then it's been on the forefront of our minds and in our prayers constantly. We both feel an abundance of blessings.

We're even more blessed because we get to stay here for a little bit longer. Just for background, the school is called Silverhawk Aviation Academy located in Caldwell, Idaho. Troy's instructor got permission a while ago from his boss to fly a helicopter down to Twin to train a few students that live here. Troy will just join right in with that group that is already learning. Troy already met his instructor and is becoming friends with a few of the guys already. He will be going on his first instruction flight on Monday, so if you live here in town, watch for a helicopter out by the airport...that's my hubby in there! :)

It seems like we took a 180 from business administration to helicopters but I've realized this is what keeps life interesting. There is never a dull moment in the Barnum household.

Isn't life ever changing and evolving! the ones who do life best are the ones who are able to adapt and try new things. Good for Troy and for Tina in this support. I remember what a big deal it was when Ken went out on his own and I know my support really helped in his decision. Best thing we ever did! (Work wise) You go Troy! Love CIA
