Ward Christmas Party

Last night was our family ward's Christmas party. We did a service theme and it really turned out great! It really made me realize how fun giving service can be. Each family brought a gift and an ornament to put on a tree. All ornaments and gifts were divided between five families. We had a few volunteers wrap each gift. The kids colored nativity pictures and wrote letters to Santa that they gave him when he made his appearance later that night. There were sugar cookies to frost and hot chocolate for everyone. After Santa left, the night commenced with a dance...mostly young kids but a few adults got in on it too. We had a great turnout with numerous gifts and a box of food for each family. I love Christmas time!!!

The tree with all the donated ornaments on it. We encouraged everyone to make them but if they didn't want to they didn't have to.

Mom plugging away at wrapping those packages...

...Stacey too!

We all sang songs in hopes that Santa would hear and drop by and sure enough...the kids swarmed him. They were so excited!
