Canoeing to Pillar Falls with Mom

The Relief Society had an activity last night where we got to canoe up to Pillar Falls.  It was so much fun!!! The best part was I got to do this with my Mom!  She's never been canoeing up there before and we both really enjoyed seeing the canyon from a different perspective.  We even got to see some base jumpers.  It was such a pretty night.  We got there, hiked around a little bit, and then headed back.  On the way back the sun was setting and with the fires around here lately, the sun was a really pretty pinkish-red from all the smoky haze.  I'm so glad I got to do this fun Mother/Daughter date!
